This has left many fans of the Fable series to conclude that if the game hasn’t been ported by now, it probably never will. But when Gears of War 2 was released, Epic stated that it had no intentions of porting the sequel over to the PC.
When the original game debuted it was created both on the console and PC platform. The successful Gears of War series had a similar problem. If that is the case, then this wouldn’t be the first time that something like this has happened in the gaming world.
Eventually, a Lionhead development team member revealed that the team had no intentions of working on a Fable 2 PC version and that it would most likely never happen. So fans waited and waited but to no avail. Way back when Fable 2 was originally released, Lionhead Studios stated that their release of the sequel was so successful that they would need to create a PC version of the game. When Fable 3 was announced for the Xbox 360, it was also announced that there would be a PC version released several months after the console version was set to debut. But due to the success of the game it was eventually ported over to the computer. When the original Fable was released, it was released on a console platform. Since both Fable and Fable 3 have a console and PC version, fans are wondering if there will ever be Fable 2 for PC. Since its original console release, many gamers have wondered when there would be a Fable 2 PC version. Fable 2 is the sequel in the successful Fable game series.
